Millington Centennial Monument

(south) As we, the citizens of the City of Millington, celebrate our Centennial, we believe that it is most appropriate to offer fervent thanks and humble appreciation to those of our area who have served in our Armed Forces. Without their sacrifices and diligence in safeguarding our country we would not be able to live the American dream. George R. Harvell, Jr. Mayor April 3, 2003 (east) The price of freedom is eternal vigilance. Thomas Jefferson (north) Ask not what your country can do for you; ask what you can do for your country. John F. Kennedy (west) We will not waver. We will not tire. We will not falter, And we will not fail. Peace and freedom will prevail. George W. Bush
