Dixon's membership card to Golf Club. Prisoners laid out various playing fields at the race course. There were numerous clubs and athletic teams, as well as education classes, that were organized by prisoners to pass the time.

A postcard prisoners could buy. View of one of the barns that served as a dormitory for prisoners. Most of the areas in the confines of the prison were given English names, either "tongue in cheek" or to remind them of home. This one was called "Marine Parade" where people might stroll in seaside towns.
